We endeavour to do our best to provide high quality services with an academic outlook. Through ÖZKEN ACADEMY we continue to provide lectures in our special classes, at universities and in all regions of Turkey in order to train qualified personnel for Foreign Trade, Customs and Logistics sectors.

Dr. Ahmet Özken, founder of Özken Customs Consultancy and Özken Academy, has provided lectures on “Foreign Trade Procedures”, “Foreign Trade Regulations”, “Practical Foreign Trade”, “Customs Regulations in Foreign Trade”, “Import and Export Practices”, “Documentation in Foreign Trade”, “Foreign Trade Management” and “Professional Information Technologies (BILGE/EDI)” to more than 30,000 people in 75 different provinces particularly in seminars organised by the Ministry of Economy, as well as at Chambers of Trade and Industry, Exporters’ Associations, Customs Consultancy preparatory courses, various private education institutions, the YAŞAR UNIVERSITY, the EGE UNIVERSITY and the DOKUZ EYLÜL UNIVERSITY.

As some of the most important actors in the Foreign Trade sector, it is very important to ensure “Customs Consultants” are trained to be well-qualified and effective in their field. Expert lecturers of our firm organise preparatory courses for the Customs Consultancy and Customs Consultancy Assistance tests. Up to date, these courses have provided up to 500 people with training. The course participants have been successful in their tests and earned their Customs Consultant and Customs Consultancy Assistant certifications. In addition, our firm has organised preparatory courses for the “Duty Station Advancement” tests opened by the Ministry, and has provided “Customs Regulations” lectures for the Ministry personnel.

Many companies engaged in foreign trade who are among the top 500 in their sector were provided with training support in regard of obtaining their “Authorised Economic Operator” (AEO) certification.
